Art Preparation

At CustomPins, art services are FREE! However, if you are preparing the art yourself, CustomPins takes the work and worry out of the process. By handling all the details and providing you with a pin sample prior to producing your full order, we make your purchasing experience 100% enjoyable.

Start the process by contacting us by phone, or forwarding the artwork you have by mail, fax: 914-939-4328, or email. Upon receipt of your logo, we'll contact you with exact pricing and suggestions about suitable pin types, colors, and plating finishes that will work well in helping you meet your design objectives. If you have an idea for a pin but no artwork, our creative art department can create one for you.

When designing your art, keep in mind that black = metal plating and white represents areas to be filled with colored enamels. All enameled areas need to be bordered by metal plated walls. If the design selection is too small to incorporate white space between the black lines, the selection needs to be all metal plate. If you are designing your art on the computer, shrink your image down to the size of the actual pin and print it. If the image is clear, then it is most likely suitable for enameling.

When submitting artwork, please provide two black and white copies; one unmarked, and the other showing color placement. It is best when the unmarked image provided is about four times the size of the actual pin. When emailing a graphic, save your file as a jpg, tiff, eps, psd or native Corel file.

Your pins will take about 15 - 18 days to produce. If you have a tight deadline which must be met, please contact us today. We'll do everything possible to accommodate your order.
